Want to be on the first page of Google? We can get you there.
If you are looking to be on the first page of the search results, search engine optimization is how to make that possible. Google, as well as the other search engines, want you to optimize your website in such a way that they know what each page is about. This, in turn, helps the search engines return results that are relevant to what the searcher is looking for.

The websites that are best optimized have a higher chance of getting to #1 position. As a SEO company, our goal is to help you get as close to the #1 position as possible. We do this by staying up to date with the algorithm changes of the search engines and implementing white hat SEO strategies that are Google friendly.

    What exactly is SEO?
Search engine optimization is a process where you improve the quality of the content of your website with the goal of improving your rankings in the search engines. By targeting the right keywords, we can help you increase qualified traffic to your site so that you can get more customers and grow your business.

A lot has changed over the years when it comes to the way that search engines rank web pages. The ultimate goal of a search engine is to provide the best results for the end user. It does this by crawling millions of websites and then returning the results that best reflect what the user was searching for.

But how do we get the search engine choose my site in its listings?

Well, it is simple, but it is not easy. The content of your website needs to contain keywords as well as semantic keywords that tell Google and the rest of the search engines that a page on your site is worth ranking. It needs to be valuable and answer the person’s query that they were searching for. Often times people think that having a good-looking site will be enough, but what good is it if no one sees it?

That is why we focus on discovering the keywords that your target audience is searching to find the products and/or services that you provide. While in some cases we can go after short keywords, we will have to do an in-depth analysis of your competition to determine if that is a realistic approach.

Domain Authority and why it matters
Domain Authority is what we use now in the SEO world to determine how authoritative a website is in the eyes of a search engine. It is a scale of 1-100 where one is just starting out and 100 means you have a site that ranks with the likes of Wikipedia. Sites that have a high domain authority have a better chance of going after shorter, more competitive keywords because Google views their websites as more credible.

Domains with a lower domain authority will need to aim at long tail keywords, that is, keywords that are longer in nature. Generally speaking, the longer the keyword is, the less competition there is for that particular keyword. However, if you invest in a long term link building campaign, then you can improve your domain authority which then will allow you to go after shorter, more competitive keywords.

What to expect when it comes to reporting
We understand the need for you to be able to track the progress of your campaign. Every month we send out a report that will show your rankings for each keyword in Google that we are tracking. For instance, if you currently rank number 12 in Google the first month and then the second month we continue you to implement the agreed upon SEO strategy, you may go to number 7 in Google. Our report will show this increase in ranking which would indicate that you are now on the first page of Google for that keyword (there are typically only 10 spots on the first page of Google).

We will also be in contact throughout the month with documents that will provide thorough research of your competition and actionable steps that we wish to take in order to improve your rankings even further. You will have the opportunity to review, make edits and approve the documents so that we can implement the desired changes.

What happens if you have been hit by a penalty by Google?
We have had several clients that have come to us because they have been penalized by Google. Many times this is due to hiring an SEO firm that used practices that were not Google friendly which is unfortunate.

If you are in this situation, it is frustrating, but we can help. There are many tools that we use to analyze your website to determine the root cause of the penalty. Often times it is having links with low authority or relevance, and if that is the case we can contact those sites to get them removed. In a worst case scenario, if they don’t remove the links, we can just disavow them so that Google does not count them against you.
